In short it's really well done, I can't help but feel incredibly immersed and find myself smiling at a lot of the interactions between the MC and many of the SC.
The abandoned buildings and feeling of sheer emptiness you've managed to achieve so far is extremely impressive, I feel a lot of your music choices are well done and provide a lot given the minimalistic style of the game. (First town was awesome and the dialogue with it gave a lot to the character building)
Anyways, I'd love for this game to continue and I'm excited to see where the story will lead
The image of the game files gaves me chills, the one with the name in morse code, especially when I just finished the update with that mysterious ending.

The sets, the characters are extremely endearing and so interesting, the story is crazy too, in short, this VN is just perfect. I absolutely loved it.
The humor is so well brought, all the intrigue about the origin of the protagonist, the mysteries of this world... It's so exciting! Reminds me of Horizon Zero Dawn, but with furries. I can't wait to see the rest of this VN, I can't get enough of it!

apart from one consistently weird writing eccentricity (way too many exclamation marks! Like really it's ridiculous! The following sentence did not need both exclamation marks—it comes off as amateur!) the rest of this VN's writing is totally solid, and I absolutely loved it
Like, the worldbuilding was absolutely top-notch, the humour was really well done and abundant, making an otherwise slightly slow opening tonnes of fun, and the intrigue had me consistently... well... intrigued. The plot was interesting, and occasionally, when this VN wants to, it puts out some of the most disturbing atmospheres out there. The scene in the radio station with the loud, glitchy equipment, and our two encounters with demons, were both very off-putting.
The second encounter
was
very well done. The author did not lie when saying soundscapes enhance this VN. Although sparsely used, the horror is made so much better by it. (Also the title theme is a total banger) (also I noticed that there were different stages for the drum soundtrack during the indulgence! Nice attention to detail)
The characters were all richly nuanced, which you love to see (and Loken especially was pleasantly nuanced, with behaviour that takes a different light as you learn about him, instead of him changing his behaviour (an existent, but not primary shift unlike in other VNs with rough personas) as you further your romance.
Also, I love the way worldbuilding has added some delicious angst and uncertainty to their relationship(?). What a great way to make sure two obviously compatible protagonists don't have an established happy-ever-after by the end of act 1.
I def recommend this VN for fans of like, One Last Night, maybe In Case of Emergency? But basically if you like humour horror and great characters/plot, this is amazing (the overused exclamation marks never get that annoying, don't worry! At least the grammar and vocabulary are both impeccable)
I've very much enjoyed the game so far its really interesting the story and the characters please keep up the amazing work you and your team are doing! but i also have a question so I'm playing build 3 and I am not playing the censored version is there a NSFW scene that i missed that happens in build 3 did i make the wrong choices or something i just want to know so if there is i can go back and try and unlock the scene so if someone sees this message id def love to know how to get it if such a scene exists with Loken please and thank you ^^
the only real NSFW is at the end of build 3, after going home from the indulgence. The only choice to be made is 'carry on' in regards to sex, which should be pretty self-explanatory. If it's not there, it may be the pre-censored version after all.

Now, that people pointed it out, I also started to notice many similarities between Loken and myself (especially my younger self). And I was diagnosed with Aspergers (though as I've read online, nowadays it's all diagnosed as autism).
One of those similarities is heightened sensitivity to sound, though that is something that I can mentally handle now, except in situations when I'm trying to listen to something or someone. I also still don't handle annoying sounds, like loud chewing (though I don't mind ASMR vids of it for some reason), explosions, bangs and high pitched beeping or buzzing well either.
When I was little I would run away from loud sounds (power tools, vacuum cleaners, hammering). And one time I forgot to switch a PC power supply from 120 to 230 V and it didn't have a switch and as soon as I plugged it in it exploded and I was afraid of plugging in anything for a long time after that. And I am still afraid of plugging in anything that I don't have full confidence of it not exploding.
Though I do enjoy some loud-ish music from time to time.

I really really like the absence of music most of the time! Like, i do love some good music in my vn's, but listening to Loken talk with some firewood burning in the background just makes everything feels more real. And not onky that, but when music does comes in, it makes it special y'know?

And it seems I was wrong about my initial assumption about the nature of the algorithm. Though it is still a possibility that I foresaw a bit later and that is that the algorithm is actually malicious.
As to the sudden advancement of technology, I think it was either a super-intelligent general AI or aliens. But the writing the algorithm revealed hints strongly at aliens.
Also the genetic engineering would explain how quickly the bipeds came to walk the Earth. Nanotechnology, quantum computing and molecular reconstruction would explain the Demons. And nanotechnology and molecular reconstruction would explain Alex not needing to breathe and eat.

I'm really glad that the kids apparently didn't receive corporal punishment. Having work assigned to them is a much more constructive and morally correct choice.
I dreamed about that Mylo would be a Blackrunner. And as soon as he said what he said about the demon encounter I already suspected that he is and him recognizing a bullet confirmed it.
When it comes to VNs, writing is the most important thing for me personally. And writing in Soulcreek is just breathtaking. The atmosphere is amazing and I really get into the story as I read. Art and music are beautiful as well. The plot and characters are so well-written, I don't even know how to express just how amazed I am.
Really, I just love this game so much and it's only build 3!
Loken is also very unique character. Love how he's both strong and vulnerable at the same time. Love all these little quirks he have.
Admittedly I am usually in for the lewds when it comes to this genre 😅, but here it is just a nice extra bonus, as the story itself is genuinely intriguing.
Both the art and writing is great, but I have to mention that the sound design complimenting everything beautifully, and often-wise the sound department where other (even otherwise good) VNs are usually lacking.

Not going to spoil anything but this has to be the most engaging VN I played since the Smoke Room, Echo and Burrows. I actually felt the terror on the MC when a certain event happens, I have to thank you for being able to experience this VN. SPOILERS!!!!!!

After reading though this vn after the new update I realized that Loken shows a lot of neurodivergent (specifically autistic) traits and as an autistic person myself I actually really love how Loken's autism is portrayed not as a good or bad thing but just Loken being Loken. It's quite a respectful way to portray it. Though is it intentional?
I personally did not find the "romance" that rushed, as the MC himself explains it, is not real romance just yet, but mainly physical attraction. Plus, lets not forget that the MC is currently clinging to the only fix point in his "new life" (not counting Byte, since a "voice inside your head" cannot replace actual company), which is currently Loken.
Love the plot and characters. It's a nice breath of fresh air to see a more a-holey MC compared to other VNs. Though it really makes me wish he would shut his mouth sometimes lolllll.
I actually find this vn super entertaining. I'm in love with the story and the blackzones topic and I definitely want to continue the story with bite. Maybe the mc is the key to revealing the unknown story of the fall? Maybe not? Or maybe he is the key to stopping the creatures from the blackzones? Who knows! Only time will say. I find that this vn has the perfect balance between story and romance. I completely recommend reading this vn 10/10. I can't wait for the next update 💙
It is a genuine criticism, he gets claimed as property and instantly falls in love, cant think about anything other that how hot the wolf looks and will actually get sad if left alone by his "savior" for a microsecond.
All of this only makes the VN worse, and it didnt need to be like this.

The "cascade" itself, how exactly it happened and why humanity was wiped out - the reason behind this and all that jazz.
the prospect of adventuring in the forbidden zones, where danger and reward are hand in hand.
( the horror theme itself you could say ).
I, for one, I'm stoked about the training scenes we'll have in the future, as well as the bonding ones too!
I want to see more of that exploration side of the story, and the interaction between bit and us, as we discover more clues in order to solve those mysteries.
It's been awhile since i've played this, and so a few terms were forgotten; which is fine, since we might get lucky and get a christmas surprise! Maybe, who knows!
Certainly, there are always things left to be improved in any project or piece of literature, but i think we can all agree that it's all a process of learning, and if we give more feedback, we'll see a definite growth in this project.
Any help is appreciated, while i might not be able to support this vn financially right now, i can always give feedback and potentially introduce others to this project.

Honestly. i really liked the things you listed, thats why that cliche romance plot bothered me enough to comment on it.
I have no issue with romance, i just dislike the one this novel presents for the reasons i already listed, a couple of examples of romance i like are:
Tennis Ace, the romance takes a long time to blossom, but it feels completely earned and organic.
Echo,, even though the romance kind of fails to blossom into something concrete due to character flaws and extenuating circumstances, the romance that it contains feels real and fleshed out,
Minotaur Hotel, the romance takes a long time to actually go somewhere due to the extreme power imbalance and trauma one of the characters has gone through, but it works.

One of the ways i think the VN could have handled this better is by making the romance take a lot longer, as in, maybe we see hints of interest in the characters for the first hours, and then they get closer due to their experiences in exploring the lands and protecting the people. The way it is done in the VN just feels sudden and unearned, there is no reason for the MC to be in "love" with a wolf he just met and got arguably kidnapped by.
There is also no need to make it a mind numbingly slow romance that takes 40 years to go anywhere, im okay with relatively fast infatuation, i just dont think it was done well here due to the way the MC seems to gush over Loken in such an intense way.
I believe it's a matter of preference; the game is advertised as a romance VN. Because of this the writer would be expected to focus more on the relationship between the MC and love interest, simply because that's what the general audience came for.
I'm not a particularly big fan of the romance aspect either, however, I can still recognize that this doesn't necessarily make the game objectively worse.
I only said it made it worse because the romance is lackluster and unearned,
The MC seems to harbor intense feelings for Loken for no reason, when they should just bond more slowly over their experiences exploring and helping each other out. (a different approach)
imo it's better than some of the ones ive read before. plus the romance did rise quite more slowly than it coulda been and didn't make the reading any cringe for me. i do agree it couldve been written a lil better

Love the plot and characters. It's a nice breath of fresh air to see a more a-holey MC compared to other VNs. Though it really makes me wish he would shut his mouth sometimes lolllll.
blackzonestopic and I definitely want to continue the story with bite. Maybe the mc is the key to revealing the unknown story of the fall? Maybe not? Or maybe he is the key to stopping the creatures from theblackzones? Who knows! Only time will say. I find that this vn has the perfect balance between story and romance. I completely recommend reading this vn 10/10. I can't wait for the next update 💙i love the game and i cant wait for the update
Facts
the main character is too love smitten with their kidnapper, the cliche and overbearing romance distracts from the interesting worldbuilding.
It is a genuine criticism, he gets claimed as property and instantly falls in love, cant think about anything other that how hot the wolf looks and will actually get sad if left alone by his "savior" for a microsecond.
All of this only makes the VN worse, and it didnt need to be like this.

Also, what did you like about it? It's easy to point out the flaws, but what about the good things in it?
I personally like the flow of the story and the premise itself!
And let's not forget about the "totally not murderous robotic beings" and how they've been created.
The "cascade" itself, how exactly it happened and why humanity was wiped out - the reason behind this and all that jazz.
the prospect of adventuring in the forbidden zones, where danger and reward are hand in hand.
( the horror theme itself you could say ).
I, for one, I'm stoked about the training scenes we'll have in the future, as well as the bonding ones too!
I want to see more of that exploration side of the story, and the interaction between bit and us, as we discover more clues in order to solve those mysteries.
It's been awhile since i've played this, and so a few terms were forgotten; which is fine, since we might get lucky and get a christmas surprise! Maybe, who knows!
Certainly, there are always things left to be improved in any project or piece of literature, but i think we can all agree that it's all a process of learning, and if we give more feedback, we'll see a definite growth in this project.
Any help is appreciated, while i might not be able to support this vn financially right now, i can always give feedback and potentially introduce others to this project.

Honestly. i really liked the things you listed, thats why that cliche romance plot bothered me enough to comment on it.
I have no issue with romance, i just dislike the one this novel presents for the reasons i already listed, a couple of examples of romance i like are:
Tennis Ace, the romance takes a long time to blossom, but it feels completely earned and organic.
Echo,, even though the romance kind of fails to blossom into something concrete due to character flaws and extenuating circumstances, the romance that it contains feels real and fleshed out,
Minotaur Hotel, the romance takes a long time to actually go somewhere due to the extreme power imbalance and trauma one of the characters has gone through, but it works.

One of the ways i think the VN could have handled this better is by making the romance take a lot longer, as in, maybe we see hints of interest in the characters for the first hours, and then they get closer due to their experiences in exploring the lands and protecting the people. The way it is done in the VN just feels sudden and unearned, there is no reason for the MC to be in "love" with a wolf he just met and got arguably kidnapped by.
There is also no need to make it a mind numbingly slow romance that takes 40 years to go anywhere, im okay with relatively fast infatuation, i just dont think it was done well here due to the way the MC seems to gush over Loken in such an intense way.

I believe it's a matter of preference; the game is advertised as a romance VN. Because of this the writer would be expected to focus more on the relationship between the MC and love interest, simply because that's what the general audience came for.
I'm not a particularly big fan of the romance aspect either, however, I can still recognize that this doesn't necessarily make the game objectively worse.
I only said it made it worse because the romance is lackluster and unearned,
The MC seems to harbor intense feelings for Loken for no reason, when they should just bond more slowly over their experiences exploring and helping each other out. (a different approach)
imo it's better than some of the ones ive read before. plus the romance did rise quite more slowly than it coulda been and didn't make the reading any cringe for me. i do agree it couldve been written a lil better
