This game is honestly beyond my expectations, I played the first update on release and the second one has just shown the effort and care your team puts in and it really pays off. The story is so immersive and intruiging. Please don't cancel this, it's one of the more unique storylines. I personally don't mind the 1/2/3 month update intervals because the story and characters are worth it.
The update was spontaneous,I can feel the emotions and the panic\Anxiety the mc was having, that's what all types of stories should have and y'all nailed it to the bat. I really can't wait for the next update but please take y'all's time patient work makes\gives awesome rewards, thank you for this amazing story y'all are doing.
I played the update yesterday but I'm still thinkin about the Blackzone stuff, I was really hyped for it before the update, and it really didn't disappoint, I'm excited to see more disturbing stuff related to them in the future because the ambiance while MC was attuning his vigor was amazing, as well as Demons of course. I'm not familiar with cosmic horror as a genre for the most part, but I've also been wondering if showing any sort of abstract imagery (instead of a black screen) when there are demons present would detract from the horror of how incomprehensible they're meant to be. The sound effects are very effective for that purpose, so I'm just wondering if seeing something disturbing but abstract or ever-shifting would contribute to the horror element in this case.
While I don't love the more fanservicey stuff, or MC being that much of a bottom, I'll admit that at this point I'd have no qualms about having sex scenes with Loken or anything of the like, specially because of their (seemingly) different perspective on sex and relationships, making the whole affair much deeper and interesting to see, so I'm excited to see where their relationship ends up going, as well as the potential misunderstandings. Other than that, I do appreciate Loken being as unique as he is, being awkward and insecure in many respects, yet still being dominant and very wise, it makes for a lovely combination that only becomes more apparent over time.

To anyone considerating giving it a go, I highly suggest you do It grabs you during the first 10 mins and doesn't let go (played the entire thing in one sitting, and it's by no means short for a first build).
This is by far the best VN I've read. Usually there's a certain point where I quickly tap through to see the CG's but never once did I do it with this. Also build one is actually longer than expected, and it really gets you invested. I have fallen in love with Loken and can't wait to see where things go.

Reading about the Demons, I can't help but think of the Reapers from Mass Effect. I suspect that (if they are technology), they can emit some kind of radiation that affects the minds of living things.
The blackrunners reminded me of the stalkers in the s.t.a.l.k.e.r video game series and that made me love it even more as I really like those games. I enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait for the next update and spend more time with Loken but also find the answer to all those questions that came up, I have my theories but I have to wait.

Byte couldn't scan Loken when Alex was freaking out a little, it would be weird of byte was able to scan it while he was overwhelmed by looking at a Demon. There's no way for Byte to scan it without Alex also looking at it, which he currently cannot do.
It's explicitly stated that Alex cannot learn more about the Demons without further training or suffering as a result. It would also be weird pacing wise to just already be figuring stuff out about one of the key points of intrigue of the story on build one.
Wouldn't scanning it be the best way to understand it and figure out what's it's doing that causes such a reaction so they can better handle it. If Byte couldn't do anything during the panic attack he should have made that more clear, or maybe come up with a plan (dulling all of our senses maybe) or discuss it shortly and say they shouldn't mess with it unless Loken said so than just outright ignore it completely.
Imo, it wouldn't cause any pacing issues, it's just figuring out what the Demons are doing to us, it can still be made ambiguous if it's magic, science or whatever.

This might be sort of spoiler, and you might not want to answer this, but I just wanted to ask — will the MC ever get to top in this game? Warnings mentioned sexual activity, so the stuffs probably gonna be in the game, but before I get invested into the game, I just wanted to get this out of the way just in-case it wasn't an option. If it wasn't, this game just wouldn't be for me. I'm fine with having options/taking turns etc. bottoming and topping, but I can't play a game with the MC 100% bottom. Again this might be a spoilers, and you might also just decide not to answer, but thank you for reading this!

Unfortunate, but not surprising or much of a dealbreaker imo. An option to skip those scenes (when and if they do come) to some extent would be nice though, assuming there's no essential characterization in the lewd scenes. If not, it's fine anyway, just a matter of personal preference for the most part.
Holy shit, I gotta say, I love this one. My main issue with most of the other VNs where you kinda "stranded in another World" kind of theme, is that they always feel like a Stockholm Simulator xD Thats why I liked Blackgate so much before it's fall. This one actually feels really "Realistic" and logical.
Please keep up the good work! You are doing wonderfully. It's already way better Story wise then Some of the others like Adastra and FBTW imo

As a first build this was very long and very good, giving plenty of time to get accustomed to the world and the characters and setting up the mystery.
thoroughly enjoyed this build and hope to read more in the future.
