Build 2: "Out of the Black"
Build 2, titled ‘Out of the Black’, is here! I was able to get through this one much faster than expected, since much of it was already written before the first build went live. The wait for build 3 will be slightly longer, but hopefully there’s enough here to keep everyone going!
KoptenOwl and Sam have been doing some editing work behind the scenes for this and the previous build, so both are now credited on the front page of the itch.io page as Soulcreek’s official editors!
Final note; thank you so much everyone for all the support, kind words and theory crafting that’s really helped keep me motivated and inspired! I've been pretty blown away by the response! Here's some of the awesome fanart that has come from build 1!

Okay, onto the new build! Here’s what’s new!
- Day 4 has been added, with roughly 26k words. It also features a CG, an added expression for Loken and a new minor character sprite (minor characters will have static sprites).
- The backgrounds have been remade, and staring at them shouldn’t feel like joining the Informed anymore! The filter was turned down, and some backgrounds were remade entirely with different stock images!
- Byte’s teasing on day 3 has been nerfed very slightly! Don’t worry, he’s still the same AI, just a little more realistic with his banter!
- A few lines were altered that were included as on oversight on my part. I won’t say which ones!
- Minor changes (such as typos) made to days 1-3.
- Saved games from the previous build apparently aren't all working, so just be aware that some older saves may not function unless I can figure out why!

The way my blood ran cold when that thing started making noise... I'm gonna have mightmares but this is worth it! It's rare for me to fall into a VN, yet this had me enraptured near the beginning! It's like a movie is playing in my head and my emotions are heightened! You are a true story-teller!
Please tell me or have someone else tell me what the problem is, so I can stop hating you for an undefined reason.
Hi, looks like there is an error when trying to load the game from last update on the Mac version. It just takes you back to the start of the game instead of continuing.
That's natural. The writer altered the script for the first few days, and also changed the backgrounds. Usually with in progress visual novels, you should aim to start a new save each time if anything was changed in previous days.

Wow... just wow ! I got chills during the scene with the demon...
The mystery, the fear, the description of something that cannot be described, the feeling of extreme dread from even THINKING about it, the fact that we can't even look at it and got no other choice than triyng to imagine what a demon might look like, THE SOUNDS OH MY GOD THE SOUNDS !!!!
I've rarely been this immersed into a game than there holy crap that was something on another level !!!

THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( sorry i just can't contain myself) i love the story , the artstyle , the charachters all of them , my only wish is to get an image of these demons though i think it's gonna be hard to illustrate these incomprehensible abominations
